Proulx Oil & Propane utilizes Remote Tank Monitors. This technology ensures that your propane and heating oil needs are handled with the least chance of a run out. The monitor is safe and attaches to your tank, takes ultrasonic readings of your fuel levels, and communicates the information to our Delivery Department.

We are committed to ensuring you get the fuel you need, when you need it, and not when you don’t.
The best time to order fuel is when your propane tank is at 30% and 1/4 of a tank for heating oil. (see picture of the propane and oil tank gauges). This fuel level allows for the most sufficient reserves even in the harshest weather.

At Proulx Oil & Propane, the safety of our customers is our number one concern. To keep you safe we strongly recommend that all our customers be on automatic delivery. In order to monitor your tank, Proulx uses the a remote level tank monitor system.
This system allows us to remotely monitor your propane and/or oil tank level at all times from our office with safe and reliable hardware we attach to your tank. This eliminates your need to check fuel levels, reduces the chance of a run out and adds to the safety of using propane gas or oil in your home.
Refilling at these levels also allows Proulx the most efficient delivery of fuel to your home, which leads to a reduced carbon footprint. Remember, if you are a WILL CALL customer, please check your gauge often and give us a call when it reads 30% for propane and ¼ for oil.
