Tom Proulx Chosen as Oil Heat Council State Officer

NEWMARKET – Tom Proulx of Proulx Oil & Propane in Newmarket was among state businessmen elected as officers of the Oil Heat Council of New Hampshire. Proulx was elected as secretary/treasurer.
The Oil Heat Council of New Hampshire's new officers for 2010 come from different areas of the state and represent some of the most respected fuel dealers in the region. Officers were elected at the Oil Heat Council's recent annual convention at the Mount Washington Resort.
Kim Weiland of Dead River Oil Company in Bristol will serve as chairman. Dana Jones from White Mountain Oil & Propane in North Conway will be vice chairman. Bob Garside will retain his position as president. In all, 29 members of the Oil Heat Council were elected to either officer or director positions.
Bob Richard of D.F. Richard Energy in Dover was among those named to the OHCNH Executive Committee.
Approximately 56 percent of all homes in New Hampshire heat with oil.
